TGIF again already?!

Man this month is flying by! I was able to meet one deadline for work already this month, that leaves just one more big deadline at the end of the month!

Ok, so there hasn’t been much happening on the job front lately. I really haven’t seen anything I would just love to apply for, nor have I received a reply from anyone regarding the interview from a couple of weeks ago. BUT a few of my references have called to tell me they are filling out reference forms regarding a position I applied to back in August with the US Forest Service. The job would be located just above Lake Tahoe in California. I had totally forgotten (well not really) about this job and had decided that they weren’t interested. Um, I guess I was wrong. So hopefully the references will help and I’ll get a call soon to fly out for an interview. I do know that any job, well anything for that matter, with the federal government takes forever to get approved, so… I’m waiting to see which one calls first!

No matter how hard we try, our plans aways seem to change. Both Caveman & I have been praying about the right direction we should take for our lives. He’s got a couple of job offers and I’ve got a few trickling in, so which way do we turn? Well this morning as I was making my way through my blogroll, I saw this on Laced with Grace. This is exactly what I needed to hear & remember today. I just need to let God have control and I will receive the blessings He wants for me beyond my wildest imaginings. It really is worth reading, so go check it out.

On the knitting front, I am half way done with Clue #2 on SOS and it is going really fast. Even putting in beads last night didn’t really slow me down. It looks like I am actually getting lace knitting now! WooHoo! This means I can finish up the Mystery3/Swan Lake Stole soon. Did you guys see the newest patterns from Knitty? I just love Juno! Maybe that one will be my next lace project? Someday I want to knit the Print O’ the Wave stole, but thats lots of grafting and picking up stitches and is just way to advanced for me right now! LOL
