I almost squeezed in a monochromatic look today and I’m practicing for St. Patty’s Day, can you tell? I’ve always loved St. Patty’s Day, although as a kid I hated being pinched when I forgot to wear green a few times. Green has always been one of my favorite colors.
But seriously St. Patty’s day holds a special place in my heart because it was on that Sunday so long ago, as a 10 year old little girl, that I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior! I have never regretted that decision for one millisecond. Now, I haven’t always been the perfect Christian either, lots of times my priorities aren’t in the right place and I trip myself up, I’m certainly human and fall short on my best days. But it isn’t about me doing it all, Christ paid the price for me. It is through His great sacrifice and His Grace that I am saved. All I can say to this is, “Thank you Lord, even though I don’t deserve it, you decided I was worth your sacrifice and you loved me to death!”
Although I didn’t mean to turn a style post into a sermon, I’m just blogging as I’m lead.
