This is the marvelous quote that Caveman heard his Fearless Leader declare during a Training Session this week on some new equipment! It was all he could do not to bust out laughing hysterically! Then he couldn’t wait to get home and tell me all about it. We both had a good laugh and pondered when was the proper place/time to ask questions if not during training class?! 😉 LOL

I’ve been dutifully practicing the “drop down to fix” compromise for dealing with mistakes. I just *can’t* bear to rip all that work out, but I know what you mean about not appreciating the finished project as much. Sometimes dropping down works, sometimes it goes all wrong, but it’s worth a try before the dreaded ripping!

I just had to rip out about 2 1/2 inches of my CPH. I tried the drop down method first, but I just couldn’t get the stitches to look right. I want it to look right though, so I’m not too upset.

I don’t see the mistake on BTS! But if it will bug you, you have to fix it.

I’m a compulsive ripper too. If there is the chance that something will be perfect by ripping and reknitting, well then, I go for it. I just think of the years I’ll wear something vs the short time it will take to reknit.
