Repair guys & a present!!

So, you might have noticed that I’ve been kinda quiet this week. Well there’s a perfectly good reason for that, Tuesday night our septic system decided to stop working and then promptly back up. We’ve been patiently waiting (although patience are stating to run thin) on the repair guy for two days. ***Ok, they just showed up and assessed the situation. Hopefully they’ll be back in a few hours to complete the job. I say, just hurry!***

Thank goodness my parents only live a few miles away, so they graciously allowed us to use their bathroom for showers and such yesterday evening. Sorry, I don’t think we need a picture of this calamity for the blog, just use your imaginations or not! LOL

While I was at my parents last night, Dad presented me with this little lovely!

I haven’t had a chance to try it out with yarn yet, but it seems to work beautifully and it’s huge! Yes, it’s almost as big as my dinning room table! It folds up for easy storage though. 🙂 Here’s another shot!

Now if anyone is interested in purchasing one, Dad can make more (not mass produce them, but more – LOL). I’m not 100% sure what the wood is that he used, but I will find out this afternoon. Anyway I think we will determine a more appropriate size and then list them in my Etsy shop!
