Casual Fashion Friday: I’ve got the Blues

It’s Friday!! And snowing!!! I’m still wishing for spring, though!

I've got the Blues!

Blouse – Talbots, Cardigan – Target & Jeans – All Thrifted, Boots – Easy Spirit

I thought I’d end the week on a blue note. After getting dressed this morning Caveman said, “Wow honey, those blues look really good on you!”. Thanks sweetie!!! I love it when my man thinks I look good, for me that’s what its all about. Lookin’ good for him and representing our family well.

And I was photo-bombed again, so naturally this is how I attempted to act casual! 😉 Have a happy weekend all!

Easy Autumn Style: Cobalt Pop

As always when keeping a record of something, trends start to emerge. I’ve noticed I’ve been wearing lots of blues with black lately. I thought I would make an effort to change that today.

While this outfit is mostly neutral I included a pop of blue to keep it interesting.

Minty Cobalt

Happy Thursday to ya! Where did the week go?! Life is always busy, but it just seems more so during the summer. This is my one outfit for the week, but you never know – I might squeeze another one in tomorrow.

Shirt – Newly Thrifted; Jeans – Thrifted; Sandals – gift (NAOT via Zappos)

I thrifted this lacey knit shirt last week along with two other great blouses: a navy & white tiny polka-dot and a vibrant green. It’s been too hot to attempt them yet, but hopefully soon. I really liked this shirt though because it is longer, making it a great layers piece for the fall or spring and because it has a subtle lace pattern that is really trendy now. It is very comfortable to wear and goes well with my cobalt jeans too!

Hope Everyone is having a great week! Any plans for the 4th? I’m hoping we can watch some fireworks this year!
